Let me start by saying this, if you are lazy and complain a lot about a lot of things then you won't be very successful at losing weight and the more extra weight you have on your body, the more hard work you will have to do to get rid of it so there's nothing you can do but get used to that idea. Most of the e-mails I receive are complaints from people about exercising being too hard, requesting a simpler, easier to follow diet and so on. I am sorry people but you have to put some effort if you want to succeed. I also see people complain about time, not having the time to workout. Well if you can't sacrifice some time and if you also can't put some more effort, I don't know what to say.
The effort is much more important than time in fitness, whether it's bodybuilding or just weight loss, it is effort and intensity that makes the difference, not time. A person that spends 60 minutes in the gym but puts less effort into his workout will not win over a person that spends 40 minutes in the gym but puts all his effort into his workout. In weight loss effort and intensity means more calories burned so it is something absolutely essential, you only need 15 minutes or so each day of intense, hard workout and you will get results as long as you eat right, it's really simple, don't let other people fool you into thinking it's complicated, or confuse you.
When you go out to run, try to sprint, run as fast as you can for a couple of seconds and then stop and continue to run but slowly and when you recover, try to sprint again and again run slowly, the sprinting boosts your metabolism and helps to burn more calories and if you keep moving you will keep burning, it's a great technique and gives great results, intensity truly matters here! And as for food, it's really really simple, stay away from sugar, from fat or at least consume as little as possible, avoid anything that has a lot of sugar or fat/calories in it, get plenty of vegetables, salads, some fruits, berries, whole grains, seeds, nuts, etc. As for dairies, it's alright to consume dairies, don't listen to those that tell you it's not, just look on the label and pick products with very low fat/calories. Try low-fat yogurt, milk and try out cottage cheese, it's a lot better for its protein source and it's very low fat.
I'd also like to recommend Nucific Bio X4 if you're looking to also try a supplement. This one's good for cravings, it will do your metabolism good and also has probiotic bacteria for digestion and immune system.
“Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.”, as Doug Larson, former columnist, used to say. Fortunately, there is a wide variety of vegetables to choose from, so every person has the chance to stay healthy while enjoying a tasty meal.
Why are vegetables so important?
As most of us already know, they are loaded with vitamins and minerals and they represent an excellent source of antioxidants. Antioxidants have a huge role in the prevention of cellular damage as they fight the feared free radicals.
Luckily, vegetables nowadays surely have a lot of allies. The world-renowned nutrition and fitness expert, Mark Macdonald, in an attempt to educate people, has become the promoter of the project “The Vegetable Prescription”, which is a program that allows low-income families to get healthy food subsidies. He also claims that eating healthy can be cheaper.
Raw food lovers also represent a group that never ceases to state the importance of having a balanced diet. They provide an impressive number of absolutely delicious dishes, made entirely without using a source of heat. Apart from being so tempting due to their taste and colors, these recipes seem to have the ability to deal with specific health issues. What is more, they guarantee increased energy levels and a more youthful appearance.
All vegetables are told to be good for us, but specialists have come with a smart way of making the best selection. They claim that the substances contained in vegetables can be easily tracked by observing their colors. Here is a brief presentation:
The advantages of consuming more vegetables are countless. They are the answer whether you want to improve your health or you are simply interested in obtaining a more appealing look.
