Looking for a local breakfast and lunch spot in Santa Cruz? Linda's Seabreeze Cafe, located in Santa Cruz's Seabright neighborhood, is a locally owned breakfast and lunch cafe. This little spot has a ton of character with photos of Santa Cruz sunsets on the walls, friendly staff, great coffee and delicious food. Being a Santa Cruz resident for the past 4 years, and living only one block away from Linda's, I frequent the cafe often. On this particular day, I was in the mood for both savory and sweet. I split the Denver omelet with my mom, which consisted of onions and green peppers. Being that my mom is a veggie, we had the cook hold the Ham which is usually included, and the cook gladly accommodated our wants of having only egg whites. Along with our omelet, I enjoyed delicious black beans and salsa, fresh & juicy fruit, and of course, Linda's cinnamon bun.
Linda's Seabreeze Cafe serves breakfast all day and offers lunch after 11AM. While I have personally never ordered lunch items (I am all about the breakfast menu), I have friends and family members who are always beyond satisfied with their selection of sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Linda's is not the most inexpensive cafe in town, but it is very reasonable, and you receive large portions and tasty flavors. There is also a selection of special items, usually including banana walnut pancakes or waffles, a unique omelet creation, and much more. But if you want to go to Linda's, make sure you get there in time, they do close early. This cafe is opened every day, Monday through Saturday serving breakfast and lunch from 6AM-2PM, and offering Sunday brunch from 7AM-1PM.
After enjoying breakfast or lunch, you can take a short (5 minutes) walk down to Seabright beach where you have a view of the Harbor lighthouse and Santa Cruz Wharf. The Seabright neighborhood as a lot of character, friendly faces, and delicious food thanks for Linda's Seabreeze Cafe.
