I decided to get out of the house on a rainy morning for coffee and stumbled upon Your Place. I peaked in out of curiosity and took a look at the menu. It sounded good and worth a try. It was their opening day and as to be expected there were a few minor delays. I had the eggs, Corralitos sausage, hash browns and biscuit. They had an extensive menu including crepes, many eggs Benedict options, omelettes, and a lot more. I decided to go with the basic breakfast. Overall the food was good and the look of the restaurant was inviting. Decor was simple and reminded me of a nice country cafe that would be a good place to start the day. Price range was reasonable and ingredients seemed to be quality. They advertise that they utilize organic ingredients and make fresh baked goods that I would like to try at a later date. Overall I think that Your Place was well worth the try and I hope they only improve with time. For their opening day, they did just fine and I hope to hear more good things about them in the near future. For a Farm to Table experience, Your Place could be a nice addition to the West Side of Santa Cruz.
